Extention Changer is designed so your files never need to leave your device. Conversion and renaming run in your browser. We do not operate a file-upload API for this tool.
Files you process
When you select or drop files, they are read locally by JavaScript running in your browser. Resulting downloads are generated on your device. We do not receive copies of those files through the changer itself.
Website analytics & hosting
Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard technical logs (for example IP address, browser type, and requested URLs) needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
We use a privacy-friendly analytics script hosted at analytics.pierrelouiscrescitz.com to understand aggregate page views. It does not process your uploaded files. You can block it with standard browser or content-blocker settings.
Cookies
The core changer does not require cookies to work. Any future essential or analytics cookies will be documented here.
